Happier Animals

Note that we make all of our cheeses using milk from free wheeling, sunshine loving cows. They spend their days outside in the grass or lounging in a historical barn. When the cows give birth, their babies are kept with the mothers to ensure maximum comfort and quality of life. Many of these lovely ladies live well over a decade, in contrast with industrially produced milkers who live on average 3 years.

Minimal Plastic

We try our best to prepare your cheeses as close to when you’ll be eating them as possible. We want them to taste like cheese, not plastic, not fridge. We also try our best to use biodegradable wrappers and containers. The downside is they often are less ‘elastic’ or ‘spill proof’. The upside is our beautiful oceans (or wherever plastic bits end up) have one less bit of unnecessary clutter.
